Jiuwu Hi-Tech's Sintered Tubular Membrane Reshapes the Landscape of Mine Water Treatment - 翻译中...

Mine water is a byproduct of coal mining. Influenced by mining activities and geological conditions, mine water contains pollutants such as suspended solids, oil, heavy metals, radioactivity, fluoride, and mineralization. However, traditional pretreatment processes, due to their long processes, poor stability, and high costs, have long constrained the large-scale application of zero-emission systems. In recent years, Jiuwu Hi-Tech's sintered tubular membranes, with their superior filtration performance, have become a new benchmark in the field of zero discharge of mine water.

The Dilemma of Traditional Processes: High Costs and High Risks

The composition of mine water is complex, containing high concentrations of calcium, magnesium, silicon, and suspended solids. Traditional pretreatment relies on the process of "chemical softening+clarification tank+multi-stage filtration", which has significant defects

Lengthy process: Requires clarification tanks, multi-media filters, ultrafiltration, and other equipment, occupying a large area

Excessive chemical dosing: To stabilize the effluent, excessive amounts of coagulants and polyacrylamide (PAM) are required, resulting in a 30% to 50% increase in sludge volume. PAM can also easily cause ultrafiltration membranes fouling and blockage

Fragile operation: The clarification tank is prone to "overturning", resulting in large fluctuations in effluent turbidity, frequent fouling and blockage of the membrane system. The water treatment costs can reach as high as 20-30 yuan per ton.

Faced with the many pain points of traditional mine water pretreatment processes, the industry urgently needs a new technology that can simplify processes, reduce costs, and improve operational stability. The sintered tubular membrane, with its unique structural design and excellent performance, has become an ideal solution to solve the above difficulties. Its core advantages are reflected in the "four-dimensional technological innovation", achieving breakthroughs in separation efficiency, system simplification, anti pollution ability, and resource recovery from four dimensions.

Sintered Tubular Membrane: Four-Dimensional Technological Innovation

The sintered tubular membrane is designed with an embedded structure (PE skeleton+PVDF membrane layer) as the core, achieving a leap in performance:

Ultimate solid-liquid separation: No precipitation or pre filtration is required, and solid particles and liquids can be separated directly through filtration. Wide channel+cross flow filtration can concentrate the solid content to over 20%. Combined with sludge pressure filtration system, the system recovery rate is close to 100%. The support particles on the membrane surface are higher than the separation layer, preventing particle erosion and extending membrane life. With a turbidity of <0.1 NTU, the permeate can be directly fed into the RO system, simplifying multiple filtration stages.

Chemical dosage reduction: No PAM is required, only an equivalent amount of alkaline agent (such as lime) needs to be added, reducing sludge volume by 60% and reducing chemical consumption per ton of water by 80%; Control TDS from the source to avoid salt accumulation caused by excessive dosing in traditional processes and improve subsequent membrane recovery rates.

Flux recovery ability: tolerant to pH 0-14, resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, and frequent cleaning with sodium hypochlorite (concentration ≤ 5%), with a flux recovery rate of over 95%.

Automated integration: The system enables rapid startup and shutdown, transitioning from standby to full load in just one minute, adapting to fluctuations in mine water volume. Automated program control reduces manual input.

Project Case

The sintered tubular membrane replaces five units of flocculation, sedimentation, sand filtration, carbon filtration, and ultrafiltration, shortening the process by 60%, reducing the footprint by 40%, reducing the addition of chemicals by more than 80%, reducing sludge production by 60%, and reducing the cost per ton of water by 50%. The effluent meets the Class III surface standard and is reused for ecological wetlands and municipal pipelines.

Jiuwu Hi-Tech's sintered tubular membrane has been validated for its performance in various high solid waste liquid separation scenarios in China. With a "problem oriented" technical design, it has become the key to solving the problem of mine water. With the embedded structure of "PE skeleton+PVDF membrane layer", it solves the core pain points of mine water pretreatment at the root. Its modular design can be quickly replicated in industries such as concentrated water zero discharge, coal mining, coal chemical industry, and steel. The investment and operating costs of future zero discharge systems are expected to decrease by another 30%, providing underlying support for industrial green transformation.
